Participants and cheerleaders of the Muhammadiyah congress have come to the city of Solo. Even schools and colleges also come to enliven the various agendas. Not wanting to be left behind, the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) was also present to enliven the congress bazaar at De' Tjolomadoe. From November 17-21, this bazaar contains various things such as interest and talent tests, exhibitions of superior works of lecturers, metaverses, and several biographies of Abdul Malik Fadjar's thoughts.
UMM bazaar coordinator Maharina Novia Zahro, S.Ikom. explained that this year's congress was an opportunity to network with various groups. Moreover, previously had a vacuum due to Covid-19. To enliven the bazaar, UMM brought different research products from lecturers. These products include ointments for meningitis, organic fertilizers, livestock probiotics, and antioxidant rose tea.
In addition, UMM also collaborated with the Malik Fadjar Institute's Smart Reading House (RBC) to provide various books related to the thoughts behind Malik Fadjar's figure. "The lecturer products we chose for this bazaar are the results of superior research. However, in its development, this product can become a worthy product to sell and help problems in the community," said the Head of Public Information Services.
Furthermore, Rina, as she is called, said that in addition to displaying superior products, her party also held interest and aptitude tests which were free and open to the public. Although it is open to the public, the main target is students in grade 12 of Senior High School (SMA) or equivalent. It also introduces the Center Of Excellent (CoE) flagship class.
"Some 12th-grade high school students are usually still confused about their potential. Therefore, we give this test so they can identify potential and talents that may be hidden. Hopefully, what we bring will benefit and attract visitors," said Rina.
On the other hand, one of the visitors, Varius Salsabila Mandrapaing, said her experience visiting the UMM stand was enjoyable. The interest and aptitude test he received helped him to choose a college major. This 12th-grade student also felt that the test results matched her personality.
"For the metaverse, it's cool. I can fly and fall from a height even though I'm still in place. This is a fun experience because I can try the latest technology. I'm also interested in applying to the UMM Campus," said the student from Madura .(cdr/syi/wil)
