Learning Easier with Beneko, Application Made by UMM Student

Technological development requires humans to adapt continually. Various aspects of life including the world of education must always be prepared to follow the existing development.
 
Preparing for this, students of Study Program (Prodi) Civic Law University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) made an innovative learning. He is Naufal Muhammad Kautsar, a student who develops a learning app for students. It was named Beneko which stands for the names of the team members namely Ibnu Choirin Tafsirudin, Eko Prasetyo Utomo and Naufal Muhammad Kautsar.
 
"I was initially interested in learning the power point presentation based on android taught in the classroom and then I was challenged to make other innovations," he explained.
 
To facilitate its users, this application has various supporting features such as learning videos, e-books and chatting that can be used to discuss when experiencing learning difficulties.
 
"Currently, the application is still in the process of improving. So, it can be more easily used in all types of smart phones," he added.
 
Although Naufal is a student of Civic Law Prodi, this learning app does not only contain KDP lesson but also biology and english lesson that can be accessed. Ready to launch to the public, Beneko's learning application can be used by July.
 
Dr. Nurul Zuriah, M. Si, a lecturer of Civic Hukum UMM said that she and team did not stop encouraging the students to be able to create various innovations, including with the presence of this application.
 
"At first, I thought that the times have changed a lot and we have started to reproduce innovations, especially about the learning model," he said.
 
With the Beneko application developed by the students, she admitted proud that her efforts to lure students to innovate could be realized.
 
Nurul hope, the birth of various learning innovations does not stop here. She invited all people who care about the model of learning to create creations that fit with the development of the era.
 
"We have to think futuristic and prepare everything related to the challenges of the future that we will face," she concluded. (ard)
