Danny is being accepted and already having a job before graduation is the dream of many young people. That is why Danny Shevarivo Pratama is currently doing, one of the best graduates from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) who has successfully worked at a company because of the Center of Excellence (CoE) Human Resource Development (HRD) program. Meanwhile, he managed to graduate in just 3.5 years.
Danny, his nickname, states that the HRD CoE from the UMM Faculty of Psychology meant a lot to him. He was allowed to do an internship for four months at PT. Indotama Seraya Artha, Pasuruan. This company is involved in retail cake raw materials. There, he gets various new things and skills that the industry needs. In fact, from the UMM CoE program, he received National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) certification at the HRD staff level.

"Moreover, I received ten superior competencies from the CoE and work experience letters from related companies. After undergoing the CoE program, I was also successfully recruited and immediately worked at a related company even though I had not graduated yet. I have been placed in the position of human capital staff until now," said Danny.
He was grateful to be able to participate in the UMM CoE HRD program. According to him, this program is perfect for students who want to get the best skills needed by industries in various fields. Therefore, they can more easily be absorbed by the world of work, especially with multiple certifications that can be a provision in job competition.
3.5 years has also become the challenge itself. Moreover, the average time to complete college is usually four years. Danny said that the UMM HRD CoE had a strategic role so that he could graduate more quickly. The projects and data he got at the internship company can be used for his final project. So, that assignment is a substitute for the thesis that other students usually do.

Regarding college activities, Danny is an active and ambitious student. He participated in various activities, starting from Putra Putri Kampus (PPK), Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ), and becoming a laboratory assistant. He even experienced acting as the chairman of a series of student activities.
The psychology faculty graduates also explained how he could get good grades even though he had many other activities. According to him, time management is essential to achieve it. "If I think an activity can be done quickly, I will do it immediately. Therefore, the related activities don't interfere with my other activities. So it is more effective and can maximize time 24 hours a day," he said.
Lastly, he encourages young people to develop their potential. Each people has their own needs and potential. The key is in self-will to be able to do the best. (put/wil)
