Islam is advancing, in fact, it is highly advancing. It is reflected in the ancestors, who combined the treatise of Islam with the advancement of scientific technology. Like Ibnu Sina, who discovered and applied modern medical science with Islamic treatises. Dr. H. M. Saad Ibrahim, M.A., as the Head of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership, in his opening speech of Darul Arqam for Senior Managers of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Universities. He gave an example of the golden age of Islam during the time of Bani Abbasiyah's leadership. Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of Diktilitbang PP Muhammadiyah, Prof. Dr. Khudzaifah Dimyati, said that through this darul arqam, the leaders must be able to spread the spirit of Muhammadiyah ideology. The spirit of this progressive Islamic treatise is a strategy on how to create an ideology that is not rigid and is in the right position.
"In the future, it is important to develop Muhammadiyah ideology, which is implemented in the form of scientific knowledge and published at the international level. We want Muhammadiyah to be recognized not only by the domestic community but also by the international community," he said.
Bachtiar Dwi Kurniawan, MPA, as chairman of the Muhammadiyah Cadre Development and Human Resources Council (PP Muhammadiyah), added that the strengthening of the Muhammadiyah ideology was a duty assigned to all participants in the Congress. The agenda is to reinforce and understand Islam in all PTMs and PTAs. "Why is the affirmation conducted repeatedly? This is because, as human beings, sometimes our faith experiences ups and downs. It is the same with the commitment to Muhammadiyah, which will experience ups and downs," he said.
