Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) (Trans: The Muhammadiyah Student Association), as an Autonomous Organization of Muhammadiyah, is at the forefront of student regeneration in the Muhammadiyah Association. This was conveyed by the Rector of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., at the opening of the Djazman English Scholarship & International Seminar. The agenda was held at UMM on May 08, 2023.
In the forum entitled "Internationalization of the Progressive Inclusive Movement," the UMM Chancellor emphasized that IMM was quickly able to answer one of the objectives of the 48th Muhammadiyah Muktamar. Namely the Internationalization of Muhammadiyah. "IMM is indeed very responsive. Not even one year after the 48th Muhammadiyah Congress, IMM has responded with this internationalization cadre activity," he said.

The Djazman English Scholarship program will be held for three months at UMM. 30 participants have passed the selection from thousands of applicants from IMM cadres throughout Indonesia.
Fauzan is also expecting all participants to develop their English skills well. "You are all selected cadres. Maximize your potential through this program as a place to improve your intellectuality, considering that you are the successor of the association," he said.
On the other hand, Pimpinan Pusat (PP) Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Irwan Aqib, M.Pd., revealed that there is a philosophy why the program was named Djazman. The name comes from a Muhammadiyah figure Djazman Al-Kindi, the founder of IMM, who has a high spirit of cadre and intellect. "The choice of Djazman Al-Kindi's name certainly has a reason. One of them is due to his cosmopolite thinking," he said.
He also emphasized that the cadre is the key to continuing an existing movement. Without a cadre, there are no people capable of continuing the struggle. Cadre is like a circular process. There must be a time when it is replaced by a stronger and better one.

The same thing was conveyed by the Chairman of the IMM Council, Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) (Trans: Central Leadership) Abdul Musawir Yahya, M.H. He said that IMM is committed to the Muhammadiyah organization to improve regeneration in the student environment. Including in Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah (PTM) (Trans: Muhammadiyah Universities).
"IMM commitment is the first medium of regeneration in the university student sector. IMM is ready to accommodate cadres who want to develop their various potentials," he said.
Finally, Abdul advised all IMM cadres throughout Indonesia to take part in advancing Muhammadiyah and the Indonesian Nation. It can be started from a severe intention to study, even by providing solutions and ideas for progress.
