The bachelor's degree obtained also proves their struggle during college, the sweat of their parents, family assistance, and patient teachers, likewise with lecturers who are diligent in guiding and loyal companions.
Desra also gave five strategies that graduates can do to become reliable problem-solvers for various problems. The first is knowing yourself. Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each to optimize their potential. Second, knowing what you want. Often this is still not sharp enough. So young people must have clear goals to be able to share benefits with others.
Then also know where we are. According to him, having ambition is good, but graduates must understand their position. If you have a little gas, it's okay to stop for a moment and stroll.
"The fourth and fifth are know the gap and do it. Do concrete things starting small. Pioneering is indeed harder than continuing. So starting from small things, then gradually taking big responsibilities," he said.
Furthermore, Desra said that these five things could be used to deal with a turbulent era and a flood of information. Another key is to understand the complexity of the problem to find a good solution.
"Future generations must be the generation that voices the loudest—trying to put Indonesia in the right position in the global arena. In 2045, the future will be in your hands. I believe you are the future generation destined to become great people," he concluded. (cdr/haq/wil)
