Prayers for the public interest will be more easily answered than praying for yourself. So it is necessary to increase social values to generate sympathy. This was conveyed by Prof. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P. as the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) RI as well as the Chairman of the Daily Development Board of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Meanwhile, he gave the tausiyah and motivation in the White Campus Halal Bihalal agenda on Sunday (8/5).
Furthermore, Muhadjir said that Eid can be interpreted as a return to fitrah and holy. So when it is clean, it will be easier for God to answer the prayers that are said. Especially prayers that concern the public interest.
“Unfortunately, we often pray for ourselves. Rarely do we offer prayers for the common good, to advance people who may not be prosperous," he added.

So, in order to make oneself a pious person, it is necessary to habituate oneself to pray in a larger scope. According to him, God is a very social substance. In fact, several verses of the Qur'an encourage humans to have a high social spirit.
"God loves those who have a high social spirit. Giving charity, both in difficult and happy situations, keeping one's anger at bay, and forgiving others even if they are not asked," said the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture.
Muhadjir also briefly discussed the challenges faced in the digital era. How the bad things are actually exploited and made into profit. Many people who used to be nothing became famous people thanks to the courage to cross moral boundaries.
Even so, Muhadjir invited the UMM academic community to believe that the truth would come. Meanwhile, falsehood will disappear so that human life will be better.

Not to forget, he had reminded the White Campus to not only focus on themselves and feel biggest. When UMM tries to advance, then of course other universities do the same thing.
"So there needs to be a good breakthrough coupled with a good vision. Especially in an era full of uncertainty and instability like today," said Muhadjir.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UMM, Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd. said that Ramadan may pass, but the spiritual values that have been built must be maintained. Mainly in order to perfect the life that has been lived.
According to Fauzan, the performance that has been done by the White Campus academic community is part and a way to become muttaqin. Especially if you are able to fill your performance with spiritual values.
"Insyaallah, if the UMM academic community uses a spiritual mindset in developing their work, then, of course, Allah will give them abundant guidance and blessings," said Fauzan.
The Secretary of UMM BPH, Drs. Wakidi. He was grateful that the White Campus' halal bihalal activities could run again in better conditions. In this month of Shawwal too, he hopes that all sins have been forgiven and can lead a more useful life.
“Our challenge now is to find a way to be istiqomah to walk on the right path. is not in the holy month of Ramadan," he concluded. (wil)
