“We are certainly grateful to have achieved this award again. This marks the third consecutive year UMM has received this recognition. Interestingly, this time, UMM PR won in two categories: social media and website,” said Dr. M. Isnaini, M.Pd, Head of PR at UMM.
He further explained that this achievement is an acknowledgment from the government for UMM PR’s efforts. According to him, UMM PR has played a significant role in promoting and supporting programs initiated by the UMM Rector, aligning them with government initiatives.
“This award is also a reflection of our efforts in producing measurable publications that align with public needs. For example, we share engaging content for Gen Z via Instagram and TikTok, along with press releases that feature scientific news, packaged according to Gen Z trends,” he explained.
Krisna, as he is often called, also highlighted how the PR team consistently promotes UMM's flagship programs like the Center of Excellence (CoE) and Center for Future Work (CFW), further establishing UMM as a leader in future work initiatives. The team also aligns their work with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in various activities. Additionally, they emphasize UMM’s community service programs, such as the Professor for Community Development (P3M).

“One more important point is how UMM has become a reference for an independent campus. With dozens of business units, including three hotels, a recreation park, a bank, a repair shop, a gas station, and a hospital, UMM proves it doesn't rely solely on students. This is proof of UMM's commitment to being a pioneer in independent campuses,” Krisna concluded. (wil/fajr)
