Many aspects have changed with the times. Likewise, with must continuously update the leadership style to suit the generations. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., at the Inspiring Leaders and Reimagined UMM event with the International Consulting Firm Korn Ferry last March. The event was attended by the rector, leadership, and ranks of vice-chancellors in the White Campus.
In his speech, Fauzan considered that the schedule was one of the efforts for the leaders to make a more significant contribution to UMM. In addition, it is also to refresh the leadership style that has been carried out so far. After completing this training, he also wants the leaders to provide accelerative innovations for mutual progress in the world of education.
Fauzan also revealed that this training is essential in the leadership journey process. According to him, the White Campus does not want to be known as an institution that uses stagnant styles and stays in its comfort zone. On the other hand, UMM must be an institution that is always taken into account and becomes a reference for new things.
