Ali Muthohirin is one of the alumni of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) with a career of entrepreneurs and neat movements. Now Ali is an Independent Commissioner Adhi Persada Beton. In addition, he also has culinary and property businesses.

"The biggest motivation that makes me at this point is sharing benefits with others," he explained.

The business that he built began with a noble intention to provide jobs for college students. He used to have difficulty with college costs, and he did not want others to feel the same. Therefore, he has various business ideas he opened.

One of them is a culinary business called Sambal Genit Resto. In addition to empowering students, his rates are affordable so that the nomads do not need to spend too much money and can use it for other purposes.

Same with the property business he built. Not just one but two firms, namely Mangkujoyo Property and Maharaya Property. Both became Ali's assets to become independent and determined to help others.

"Usually, the students often discuss with me. Back then, I could only give them a suggestion. But providing a way out and material assistance will certainly be more useful for them, " he said.

Ali, as he is often called, is also keen to go down to public and political spaces. He has been active in the organization since attending school and college. "My decision to go into public space began with the mind that young people should not be a generation that can only revile. But it must also contribute and play a role in making policies in the public sphere, "said the man born in Gresik.

If he asked about his inspiration, Ali mentioned Moeslim Abdurrahman, an intellectual who also contributed to the public sphere. Ali initially only jumped into the intellectual world and was finally moved to go directly. Try to take part that takes a policy for mutual benefit.

He said he had always participated in scientific discussions such as Jenesys, Young Political Leaders, PPUT, and the Tadarus of Islamic Thought. "When I found out about the figure of Moeslim Abdurahman, I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Become a scholar as well as enter the political world. It must be associated together or synergized, "he said.

Ali also gave a message to young Indonesian people. He said sincerity to spread benefits and have clear goals and consistently achieve them. In addition, they have to hone their respective passions to be successful.

"Every young people must have their own goals. Some focus on entrepreneurs, some are in politics, becoming academics, and others. It must be maximized because we are the future of Indonesia. Moreover, young people also have a significant percentage in voting rights in the election later, which is around 40 percent, "he concluded. (put/wil)
