In his study, Agus revealed that there is a lot of inspiration that can be obtained by studying the Quran. For example, about how an airplane can fly in the sky. The Quran provides inspiration for the world of aviation through the explanation of Surah An-Nahl verse 79 about birds.
In addition, Agus also explained other verses that could be related to how the ship works. As in Surah Al-Qamar verse 13 and also Al-Jasiyah verse 12. The two verses are the same thing and have the same purpose. In the first verse it is explained that Allah subdues the sea, while in the second verse Allah subdues the ship.
“The sea is subdued by using materials that float and just need to be given an engine. Then it must also be able to subdue the waves so that the ship does not sink. The two verses have the same mission. Describing the different characteristics of ships between wooden ships and metal ships,” said the ITS Physics Professor.

In conclusion, Agus, who was once a lecturer at UMM, said that the Quran is not only a value base. It can also be used as a source of inspiration related to the development of science and technology. In addition, he also emphasized that Islam is a religion that is rahmatan lilalamin, so the Muslim mindset also needs to be changed. For example, by not only being a consumer or user, but can actually provide new products or innovations so that they can provide benefits.
"So, let's develop Islam together that is able to understand the material of religious sciences and also knowledge in their respective fields. In this way, we will also be able to contribute to the world," he concluded. (zaf/wil/Ind)
