She emphasized that literacy is essential for every educator. A broad knowledge base allows teachers to inspire and enrich students' perspectives. The primary reason for creating this book was to serve as a literacy reference in schools, especially as a storybook that could be used for teaching material.

Initially, the project only involved teachers. However, after gaining support from the school, students were also given the opportunity to participate. Ani and the team wanted students to have the opportunity to develop their ideas and creativity through writing, while improving their literacy skills. To make the project a success, the team organised intensive training in short story writing. The training not only taught writing techniques, but also provided insights into themes relevant to the character of Indonesian students.

The theme chosen for the short story project was 'The Profile of a Pancasila Student,' which includes values such as faith and piety, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, and the ability to think critically and creatively. The team emphasized that this project aims to introduce short story writing as a tool to build student character in accordance with Pancasila values.

As for the title of the short story collection, the team chose Simfoni Jiwa (Symphony of the Soul) for its philosophy, reflecting the spirit of youth. "Teenagers have unique and energetic characters. This collection of short stories is like a song of youthful souls full of hope," she added.

Ani shared that initially, many were pessimistic and found it difficult to write short stories. However, after the training and mentoring, they successfully wrote excellent stories. The stories produced were diverse, reflecting various life experiences and perspectives.  (nam/wil/fajr)
