Humans are social creatures who cannot live alone and need each other. So, a series of questions were given by Yoji Sato, Chair of Eurasia Foundations, in the Lecture Series Lectures. He asks what is the ultimate goal as a human being, where the goal is, and who is the actual human being. This agenda is organized by the Center for Asian Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), in collaboration with Eurasia, in October-November 2022.
Sato explained Eurasia Foundations has a goal to contribute to eradicating conflict in the world to achieve peace on earth. Eurasia seeks to hold lectures at various universities in Asia and Europe to achieve this goal. Having lectured at multiple campuses in many countries, students can exchange ideas about world history, culture, religion, politics, economics, and others.
“This activity has been held since 2010 until now. In a position, Eurasia does not side with anyone or is neutral and is open to all universities that wish to participate,” explained the man from Japan.

He further explained. Humans teach eternal absolute truth. Humans seek wholeness with the consequences of limitless knowledge and a world without conflict. He believes religion and quantum mechanisms are the closest to achieving eternal wholeness. According to him, there is a way to attain infinite fullness by exploring four aspects: ego, human, life, and primary substance.
In addition, according to him, humans are formed because of habits and the environment. He told the story in the 12th century. King Frederick II conducted experiments on two children. The first child grows up in a supportive environment with food and a place to play. At the same time, the second child grew up in a slum environment. As a result, children who grow up well off become brilliant but are mentally dependent on others. Meanwhile, children who grow up in slums and do not care about the lives of others are mentally formed and can live on their own without the help of others.

"In my opinion, the human body is hardware, while the ego and way of thinking are software that runs in the body. And the environment shapes the software ego," he added.
On the same occasion, Gonda Yumitro, MA. Ph.D. as a speaker with the theme Migrant Workers, National Identity, and Citizenship Asian Exp. He explained that globalization is the starting point for the spread of migrant workers, mainly from Southeast Asia. According to him, many issues are developing, ranging from racism to slavery.
The issue is heard a lot from the countries of the Arabian peninsula. Moreover, it is supported by the kafala system, which is very detrimental to migrant workers. For example, passports or salaries that are not in their hands but are held by their employers.
The workers will also gather together with their country of origin. It creates a national identity that gives rise to many perspectives for the country visited. One example is India which spreads all over the world. They are even able to increase. Most recently, Rishi Sunak succeeded in becoming the Prime Minister of the UK. It is supported by the strong desire to learn about Indians.
"This is different from workers from Indonesia who are only trained in physical skills. But in terms of language and science, it is very different from other countries. That's what is still an obstacle until now, "said Gonda. (cdr/haq/wil)
