“I started to train in Balangan Amura Dojo. I did my regular exercise three times a week. In my preparation to participate in the championship, I join private training with an outside coach. I do exercise three times a day. For now, sometimes I train myself at UMM Inkado Dojo in Hall of Mosque, in Student Center to train my physics and techniques. I myself frequently do independent training such as skipping, jogging, and light physical exercise,” said Rafid.
A path to reach the winning trophy was a struggling footpath, it was also felt by Rafid in his preparations for the championship. Even though he had started his karate exercise since 13 years old, he faced a lot of obstacles that he had to manage during his exercising period. He thought that the heaviest challenge in his preparation for the championship was a consistency to do exercise and manage the time for studying, exercising, and being in an organization.
Being successful to contribute the achievement fo the beloved campus, all the cheers and the whoop didn’t make him an imperious boy. The huge support came from his parents whose praying turned out to be his very powerful spell to win ticket champion. The never giving up the coach who pushed me until my very last breath. Besides, my friendship environment also did not escape to providing support. So all of that affected my enthusiasm," he explained.
“My words to all of my friends, keep on giving and supporting to what your friends are struggling to. Say your very forceful spell to what your friend are doing. The last but not he least, give your 100% focuse in doing a thing,” firmed the students who were active in the Balangan Students Harmony area in Malang. (adq)
