Thousands of guests filled the Great Haul of Sheikh Kyai Ageng Basyariyah and Joint Prayer for the Nation as well as commemorating the maulid of the Prophet Muhammad SAW 1445H together with 1,000 Ulama throughout the archipelago, last September 30. In the haul which was held at Al-Basyariyah Sewulan Mosque, Madiun, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Prof. Muhadjir Effendy, MAP was also present. Deputy Governor of East Java Dr. Emil Dardak, and a series of clerics, scholars, and even figures from outside Java.
Not many people know that Muhadjir is the 6th descendant of Kyai Ageng Basyariyah or Raden Bagus Harun. The same ancestor as the President of the Republic of Indonesia KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur). Many national and pesantren figures were also born, both in the past and now. For example, Mbah Sambu Lasem, Mbah Maimun Jubair KH. Ahfas Faishol Baidlowi Lasem, Gus Baha, and others. This also makes Muhadjir very close to the clerics among Nahdhatul Ulama (NU).

A few moments earlier, Muhadjir also received the title Raden Pangeran Anom from Kasepuhan Majan in the foyer of Kasepuhan Majan Tulungagung Mosque, East Java. The title, which was pinned directly by the Kasepuhan Majan’s Chairman and Council of Elders, is a form of appreciation to the descendants of the Sentono Dalem Majan family. Especially thanks to his services to the country and has a passionate soul and is trustworthy in the responsibilities carried out.
K.H. Ahmad Muwafiq explained that there are several reasons why the spread of Islam on the island of Java is quickly growth. One of them is that the Javanese civilization was quite advanced when the Prophet Muhammad spread Islam in Makkah, precisely in the 600th century AD. This was proven by the existence of many kingdoms that stood on the island of Java. Thus, the process of spreading Islam brought by Middle Eastern scholars also became faster and easier.
In addition, according to him, the concept of spreading Islam on the island of Java through traders is an inappropriate diction. "The truth is that the scholars became traders to be able to blend in with the community, this concept should also be applied by leaders to be able to blend in with the community," said Gus Muwafiq.

When invited to lead the sholawatan, KH Moh Hasib Wahab Hasbulloh from Bahrul Ulum Tambak Beras Islamic Boarding School spoke some fascinating things. He said that Muhadjir is a figure who is good at singing. Muhadjir is also considered suitable to represent the community to advance the people and nation of Indonesia. "His dedication to the nation and state has been tested. So, let us also pray that he will be able to provide the best for Indonesia," he said.
On the other hand, East Java Deputy Governor Emil is also one of the descendants of Kyai Ageng Basyariyah. He said that East Java is a place where many kyai were born and had a great influence. This is evidenced by the number of Islamic boarding schools that have been established and run in East Java.
Furthermore, Emil also emphasized that in 2022, East Java received the national sharia Adinata title. The award is an appreciation for the increasing achievements of the sharia economy.
