Mikrajul Mukminin, the best graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) shared his experience while he was a student at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). He has achieved various achievements from the University to the National level. One of them is how he participated in the National Youth Fighter program organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), Ministry of Religion (Kemenag), and Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud).

Mikra, as he is commonly known, said that he was elected as the head of his batch. At that time, he and his colleagues ran a sustainable program for the community. "At that time, my team and I created a digital campaign program focused on youth organizations. We built catfish ponds and taught them how to cultivate them. In addition, we also provided training on how to commercialize the results of catfish farming so that it can provide profit," he explained.

The man who had recently graduated said that catfish cultivation was chosen because it suited the needs of Ngawi Regency. He wants the community to be digitally literate and utilize it for the common good. As a result, marketing is not only traditional, but also through technology.

Interestingly, in that program, he also ran a clean water program for the community. He realizes that clean and healthy water is very important for the sustaining of human life. "All the activities we do are always under the control of the supervisor. Our activities can also be converted into courses. That's why I feel lucky to get 18 grade conversions," said the young man from Dompu

Mikra was also one of the student exchange participants in 2022 at the University of North Sumatra for one semester. At that time, he didn't spend anything because the government covered everything. "In fact, because of the independent campus learning program, I even received a scholarship when I returned to UMM for UKT payments of 4 million," he added.

Finally, Mikra said that being an outstanding student at UMM is very easy, because various potential containers have been provided. There are dozens of student activity units (UKM), internal student organizations, and others. So, in his opinion, it's just a matter of how students can maintain their willingness and enthusiasm for achievement.

"All processes must be accompanied by ups and downs. However, it is actually the experience that makes us wiser and able to take the best path," he concluded. (Ri/Wil/Fajr)
