In the midst of busy running the Tridharma of Higher Education activities, Pimpinan Cabang Aisyiyah Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (PCA-UMM) (trans: the Aisyiyah Branch Leadership of Muhammadiyah University Malang) continues to do a series of organizational mandates. One is the 4th Aisyiyah Musyawarah Cabang (Musycab) (trans: Branch Deliberation) at the end of June. The PCA UMM is a special PCA that was formed in 2007.
Dr. Vina Salviana, the head of the organizing committee, explains that time limitations and her busy life as an academic did not dampen the spirit of the committee to continue working to prepare for the Musycab. According to her, social media such as Whatsapp and Zoom are beneficial for communication and coordination, along with the persistence and contribution of the organizing committee.

An interesting theme on the agenda was "Women in Progress Enlighten the Nation's Civilization." As the only PCA on the campus of UMM, PCA UMM added a sub-theme taken from a combination of the four pillars of a progressive and prominent Islamic society. These include having a strong and sturdy religion, high knowledge, a deep sense of humanity, and a positive sense of spirituality.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Regional Branch, Dra. Hj Sri Herawati assessed that it is not easy to engage and encourage the Aisyiyah organization despite their busy schedule as academics. Even so, being-Muhammadiyah and being-Aisyiyah must be fun, so to advance Aisyiyah, we must spare time, not waste time.

She also hopes that PCA UMM, which consists of academicians, can become an example of a structured and systematic organization. Moreover, it can also understand and develop Aisyiyah programs based on science to achieve these programs more efficiently. To become a good PCA organization, the PDA chairperson emphasized the importance of continuously instilling ideology even though it takes a long time.
The same thing was also conveyed by the Rector of UMM, Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., who emphasized the role of PCA UMM as a special PCA. They must bring up programs that are much better and extraordinary. Therefore, PCA UMM can be an example for other PCAs. (put/wil)
