The combination between social aspects of humanities and tauhid dimension makes prophetical literature can be developed more and balanced. Islamic Studies and Philosophy Center (PSIF) University of Muhammadiyah Malang held Interfaith Explorers of Islamic Studies (KII) of prophetical literature on Saturday (30/9).
KII presented a literature expert Prof Dr Djoko Saryono MPd who talked about “Prophetical literature of social and Islamic perspectives”. Djoko said that, transcendental dimension in prophetical literature can have social revolution impact for society.
Furthermore, Djoko said that this literature is related to the components of life because its values and impacts affect society. He said, “Unfortunately, prophetical literature in Indonesia is not studied more deeply yet”.
Djoko revealed that prophetical literature decreases from time to time. “Nowadays, people understand religion only as a belief, not as life guidance. Through prophetical literature, it is expected that religion can be more meaningful for people”. (lus)
