“So even though this book adopts a western concept, it can still be applied in eastern countries like Indonesia. This book also explains that outstanding leadership is networked, harmonious, and prioritizes togetherness. In my opinion, this 134-page book can present how a leader should act. The sentences used are very communicative and easy to digest,” said Mukhaer.
In line with Mukhaer, a lecturer at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) Dyah Pikanthi Diwanti SE., MM. said that in connected leadership, there are multiple interconnected networks. Each network also has different characteristics. It is on the wishes and abilities of each member. According to him, this book can be used as a basis for developing Human Resources (HR) and how to manage these human resources.
“At the beginning of the page, this book explains various facts that exist in society. Various myths about leadership also accompany the presentation of these facts. Uniquely, the peak in this book is not found at the end of the chapter but in chapter nine, where this chapter discusses how leadership can bring about change,” said the Islamic Economics Study Program lecturer.
