As the follow up of the gathering between Arema FC and University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) on Friday (13/7), they signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding to the use of UMM Stadium as the Arema FC exercising center.
The new coach of Arema FC, Milan Petrofic in interested to use UMM Stadium because of its quality. The contour of the stadium and the nice weather support the training program that has been planned.
One of the founders of Arema FC, Ovan Tobing who witnessed the signing of MoU is so grateful because Arema FC has cooperated with UMM since the era of late Sam Ikul (Lucky Adrianda Zaenal-another founder of Arema FC).
UMM Rector, Fauzan welcomes this cooperation warmly. UMM is the only university that has official Arema base supporters, which is Korwil AAremania Kampus Putih. So, this MoU is just one of the series of good cooperation between Arema FC and UMM. Fauzan said, “Arema often uses this stadium to exercise, but it was just partial and temporally. So, from now on we are going to arrange tight schedule for the next one year”.
Director of PT. Arema Bersatu Berprestasi, Rudy Widodo after signing the MoU revealed that this is what Arema has been dreaming for so long. He expects that this cooperation will benefit for both. After signing the MoU, Arema FC players directly go to UMM Stadium to exercise for Training Camp. (lus)
