Prideful news once again came from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). This time, it came from one of its public relations staff who successfully won the Anugerah Humas Diktiristek (AHD) LLDikti VII East Java at the end of July. It was Hassanalwildan Ahmad Zain who won first place in the category of the most popular public relations person in East Java.
Wildan, as he is called, said that this achievement could not be apart from the support of the UMM Public Relations team. From providing input and content consideration to helping organize the things needed in the selection process for this category competition. He added that another important thing is his efforts to continue to inform cool programs such as Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, matching funds, and IKU.
"I have written thousands of articles and news articles that have been published in various print and online media. Including articles that discuss MBKM. It can be my basis and provision in winning this competition, especially in the aspect of public relations personnel," Wildan added.

According to him, the event is extraordinary and can be a forum for competition among campuses. Thus, it can motivate each campus to develop themselves and become better. In addition, it is also a forum for beneficial friendship.
In addition to the Most Popular Public Relations Person category, UMM also won first place in the social media category and second place in the page category. The achievement was also appreciated by the head of UMM Public Relations, Dr. M. Isnaini, M.Pd. According to him, AHD is an event that can help to improve the quality of the campus, especially the Public Relations unit.
"This is a proof of the hard and smart work of the PR team. Including Wildan, who successfully won first place in the public relations person category. UMM has long campaigned for government flagship programs such as MBKM. Likewise with world agendas such as SDGs. We prepare all the requirements seriously and orderly. Of course our target is to get champions in various categories, and thank God it can be realized," he said.

He emphasized that the UMM Public Relations team always publishes in the media, both online and in print. Likewise with the publication of interesting and unique videos that are broadcast through the TikTok platform, Instagram, Youtube, X, and Facebook on the official campus account.
"Our branding strategies and objects also include the Center of Excellence (CoE) program developed by UMM, which is closely related to MBKM and is focused on the SDGs aspect. Hopefully this can be a motivation for other public relations to be better," he ended. (Faq/Put)
