SINCE 2010, UMM has collaborated with organization of supranational European Union (EU) in giving opportunity to students, staffs, and lecturers to get Erasmus+ exchange scholarship in several campuses in Europe. Over the past six years, more than 100 students had got this scholarship.
Drs.Soeparto,M.Pd, who is the Assistant Rector for cooperation term of UMM explained that in order to get this scholarship, UMM academic community had to compete with 27 countries of Erasmus + consortium members from both Asia and Europe.
The latest, UMM has just opened registration for a student exchange to Lublin University of Technology in Poland and Latvia University in Latvia. Students who qualify will go to Europe in the spring months of February or autumn in September 2017, according to those both universities academic calendar.
One of UMM students winning Erasmus + scholarships which is now in Portugal, Syol Indra Syafril, said that he could take many advantages because UMM provided many scholarship for students. He also had chance to go to Singapore through Learning Expree (Lex) program (a collaboration between UMM and Singapore Polytechnic) last October.(Jal / han)
