Various attractive scholarships are provided by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). One of them is the "Bakti untuk Bangsa" scholarship which allows new students to receive a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first semester. This scholarship is intended for new students who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, both academically and non-academically.

He stressed that all prospective new students have the opportunity to receive the "Bakti untuk Bangsa" scholarship. However, prospective students in the faculties of medicine, health sciences (Fikes), and psychology will have specific regulations that have been prepared.

Recipients of the scholarship will receive a full tuition fee waiver, specifically 100% for the first semester. This pathway allows candidates to apply to UMM without an entrance exam. Registration and document submission will be conducted from June 10-24, with results announced directly on June 24, 2024.

"New students can also apply for other scholarships once enrolled at UMM. There are many opportunities available, coupled with the entrepreneurship programs prepared by the White Campus, which empower students to be independent through business and comprehensive skills," he added.

In addition to the "Bakti untuk Bangsa" scholarship, UMM also offers the Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) scholarship, scholarships for orphans, discounts for Muhammadiyah school alumni, as well as scholarships for religious scholars under the Program Pendidikan Ulama Tarjih (PPUT), scholarships for siblings, and others. These initiatives provide ease and options for students to develop themselves and receive financial support while pursuing education at UMM. (wil/fajr)
