Mitt Romney Completes the Victory Speech

VIVAnews - Although counting the United States Presidential election has not been finalized, but candidate Mitt Romney has completed his victory speech. Indeed, it was mentioned  the United States presidential election the most stringent in history.

Until now, the results of an ongoing tally, Romney has obtained 154 out of 270 votes for the White House. While Barack Obama has reached 153 votes.

Romney looks more confident could diminish Obama's ambitions for his presidency a second time. Governor of Massachusetts was even admitted that he had completed his victory speech as President of the United States.

Elections in the United States is quite unique. The winner of the election is not determined by popular vote majority, but through special accounting mechanism called the electoral college.

Under that mechanism, each state was given a number of electoral votes in different compositions, according to the proportion of the population respectively. The winner is determined when it won at least 270 electoral votes. (eh)
