Division of Nature Lovers (DIMPA)

Division of Nature Lovers (DIMPA) gives an opportunity for students to wander and live independently in the wild. By having the motto “Scientific and Social Adventure (PIS)”, the students can join the activities held by DIMPA such as climbing, prusikan, orat, mountenering, conservation, and caving. Besides, DIMPA is attractive in testing the courage of the members by being in the water which is located in Brantas river, Pekalengan river in Probolinggo, Progo river, Serayu river, and other big rivers.

DIMPA also has some training agendas, such as Dies Natalis, Basic training (Diklatsar), and advanced training. There are two stages of Diklatsar, which are pre-field and field.

Pre-field is done in campus area. The members are taught how to climb, how to tie with a rope, and so on. Meanwhile, the field activity is done by giving survival material such as how to step down on a cliff, how to be a strong team, and how to have a strong mental. Advanced training is done every month and is held once on every weekend.
