This unit is supporting facilities for Tarbiyah Department. It is managed by a lecturer and an assistant. The laboratory is completed with Micro Teaching stuff and classroom for teaching practice. Besides, this laboratory is also used as media to conduct theoretical experiment along with some lecturers’ finding program.

Laboratory purposes: 

1. Providing teaching skills and training to the students.

2. Creating a learning media of Islamic Studies.

3. Evaluating teaching and learning process in FAI to develop it.

Activities:

1. Organizing several lectures at the Micro Teaching Laboratory.

2. Organizing and implementing activities of PPL debriefing.

3. Conducting teaching and supervision training for FAI lecturer.

4. Conducting experiments and discussions about theories of teaching and Islamic education.

5. Creating the module and the media of Islamic teachings.

Implementation Patterns:

Work together with the department and its lecturer to coordinate about micro teaching lecture along with its briefing. Furthermore, in order to conduct PPL, this laboratory has made cooperative agreement with some schools to place the student later.
