Territorial Study Center (PSK)
Pusat Studi Kewilayahan (PSK) was established to concentrate in doing scientific studies in the form of discussion, workshop, research, journal publication, and scientific though arts, and training on varous matters related to territorial development and community empowerment generally in Eastern Indonesia.
Objectives:
The objective of PSK of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang are:
a. Developing and coordinating territorial perspective related studies.
b. Doing intensive study through discussions; seminars; workshops; social, political, governmental, and economic researches which are concentrated for the developments in East Java and Eastern areas Indonesia.
c. Developing development data center for the UMM academic community in particular and the publics in general in the form of statistical data and others (local potential data, local information system, local policy data and local law products, etc.) in governmental and regional SIM fields.
d. Developing and improving human resource potencies in order to realize policy on local autonomy related to the community empowerment.
