Research Institute
Research Institute is a means for developing institutes of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang as a relaization of Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. The research activities are directed on the university's appearance as the center for preservationa and development of science and technology, cultures, Islamic matters, and Kemuhammadiyahan. The developed implementation pattern of research is profession research, institutional research and cross-sectoral research.
Publication aspect and result of research in UMM are done through:
a. Research conducted by all lecturers (competitive grant, OPF, and young lecture development published on research journal and resarch report).
b. Essence (abstract of research result in English and Indonesian language)
c. Homepage on internet and digilib
During the resaech activities, there are funds from:
a. Kopertis of Area VII (OPF Research), Dirjen DIKTI
b. Toyota Foundation
c. Pemda TK I and several Pemda Tk II and Bappeda TK II in East Java
d. BKKBN Tingkat I of East Java, DPP UMM
