Industrial Engineering Laboratory

a.        Design of Work System and Ergonomy Laboratory

Work measurement praacticum; providing practical lesson on how determining work method, determining rating performance, making process map, making work map, performing work measurement using stopwatch method and work sampling.

Practicum of work system design provides practical lessons on how to design work system, design work station, design control panel, design product, etc. based on the work principles and the human physiology condition. Besides, the practical lessons are also on how to design work system, design voice communication, etc. based on the work principles and human physiology condition.

b.        Manufacture System Laboratory

Practicum of production planning and control; providing practical lessons on how to predict request, making schedule of aggregate and disaggregate, making production master schedule, making work order, planning work, planning material requirement, design equilibrium trajectory, design work layout, etc. on the manual industry.

Practicum of production system (MPR II, JIT, Project Management); providing practical lesson on how the performance of each production system, how to design the production system, and how to test the design reliability of production system on the manual industry.

c.        Laboratory of Industrial System Simulation & Optimization

Practicum of industrial system simulation and optimization; providing students with skills in the field of software such as quantitative system, SEESIM, Vensim, SPSS, Arena, etc. The skills will be useful for completing the big task of simulation subject of industrial system and operation study as well as project management which cannot be conducted manually for the big number of the variable.

Practicum of simulation and production system optimization; providing practical lesson on how to conduct simulation experiements and if it is possible finding solution for industrial problems which will be implemented in the laboratory of Statistics I and II, lab. of quality control, lab. of PSKE, Lab. of production system into industrial system, integrating lab of quality management, lab of PSKE, MRP II and management studio in the simulation of industrial system.

d.        Management Studio

The laboratory is used for providing students with skill in mastering simulation software used for manufacture system control in the computer so that it closes to the real object condition.

e.        Organization Studio

The laboratory is used for providing students with skill in mastering simulation software and games used for organization management.
