GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

CHAPTER I

 

 

 

Subsection 1

 

 

(1) University of Muhammadiyah Malang here after is abbreviated as UMM. It is Higher Education of Muhammadiyah (PTM).

(2) PTM is high education in the environmental unit in charge of organization of Muhammadiyah Patnership in the role of coaching devotion and faith to Allah Almighty, educating and teaching, doing research and community service according to Islamic guidelines.

(3) The Rector is the highest leader at University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

(4) The Head of UMM is the Rector and Vice Rector.

(5) Dean and Vice Dean are leaders in the environmental of UMM faculty who coordinate and carry out the academic education or professionals in one or a set of branches of science, technology, and certain art.

(6) The Director is a leader in post graduate programs at UMM environment who coordinates and carry out academic education or professionals in one or a set of branches of science, technology, and certain art.

(7) Head of Department is a department leader in a UMM faculty in conducting educational environment of academic or professionals in one or a set of branches of science, technology, and certain art.

(8) Head of Study Program is the leader of courses in a department / faculty / environmental education program at UMM who is carrying out academic education or professional education in one of the following department / faculty / education programs.

(9) Academic in this rule is in term of educational and teaching activities.

(10) Lecturers are professional educators and scientists at UMM with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science, technology, and art through education, research, and community service.

(11) Students of university are students who are registered and studying at UMM.
